This cute little boy couldn't wait to turn 5. He secretly wants to be a dragon and as you can see does a good job acting like one. I can't tell you how fun it was to hear him laugh. His smile and gut-filled cackle is contagious. I couldn't get enough of it.
Playing super heroes while snapping pictures, what could be better? This little man was so much fun. His energy and smile were contagious. After snapping some individual and family pics, I whipped out a few costumes and we started fighting imaginary evil. Looking at the edited pictures I can't decide who I like best, Superman, Captain America or Superman. They are all so super.
I heard about a couple of poppy fields when I was in photography school this spring. I was determined to find one when they started blooming. I convinced this beautiful family to venture to the land of poppies with me and it was magical. I was out of town during the first week they were blooming so we caught it at the tail end of their season, but that didn't matter. They were enchanting. This family was amazing. This session was by far one of my favorites yet.
Confession - I have always looked up to my cousin Kim. She is so nice, so sincere. So when she asked me to take pictures of her family I was thrilled! They really are picture perfect. I had a great time catching up and taking their pics.
These girls are in love with their new baby brother and you can feel it. It was so sweet to see the oldest hold and cradle him. He is in good hands. I think his parents kind of like him too! Who wouldn't? He is adorable!
