Let’s be completely honest here. Family photos can be stressful. I’ve been there. You search around for a month trying to find outfits for everyone that match but aren’t too “matchy.” Then you call your mom and sister over to model things for because you can’t decide what color of tights to wear that will match your infant daughter’s.

Then there’s the night before family pictures. You want to make sure everyone gets a good night’s rest but inevitably there’s a school project you just found out about and you’re up way past bedtime helping hot glue plants onto a diorama.

Picture day is one of the most stressful days as a mother.

You want everything to be perfect. You want your kids to be happy. You want it all to look like you all get along. Because generally you do.

That’s why I’m here.

I’ve been there. I’ve shouted at my kids on the way to a studio while they were pounding on each other in the back seat of my van. Then tried to get it all together again before walking in for our portraits.

The struggle is real.

I know it takes a lot of work to get ready. I’m here to help you. Do you want an opinion on what colors to wear? What about where to take the pictures? Give me a call. I’m here to work with you to figure out how to make your pictures look amazing.

Are your two oldest sons picking on each other? No problem. Did your toddler just wake up from a nap? We’ll let them warm up.

You don’t have to keep up appearances for me. Come as you are. When you work with me you work with a friend. I’m a fellow mom who knows what you deal with. You can trust me. Trust me that I will do all in my power to help your family feel at ease. Trust me that I will make you all look your best. And trust me that I will bring fruit-snack bribes. It may not work on your older children, but then again, it might.
