This was my first time shooting at Trolley Square. I had flashbacks to my single days when I would go country swing dancing there every Thursday night. It's such a cool place! These two little boys are the cutest. They remind me of two of my kids - one has bright blonde hair and the other dark brown. So crazy!
These are some of my favorite people on earth. They are fun, chill and would do anything for anyone. This is my second time shooting their pics at Snow Basin. The first year there was snow. This year there was no snow, but it was still freezing! We dodged the rain just in time to get this session finished.
This cute family and I had the worst luck with the first chance I took their pictures. We live in the same city and were trying to get the Snow Basin for the shoot, but there was an accident on the way and traffic was SO SLOW! No matter how long I drove it still said it would be an hour to Snow Basin. It was horrible! So we called it quits and decided to go a different night. I'm so glad we did! Snow Basin is so beautiful. And so are those three little girls!
The Great Saltair is one of the few places in Utah that doesn't feel like Utah. If I squint my eyes, plug my nose and walk about a mile I can make it to the water and pretend I'm at the ocean. It seriously is a cool, cool place. And this is a cool, cool family. From crazy posing next to the building to an 11-year-old who wouldn't stop eating caramel, it was a hoot!
This bunch was getting together as a family for the weekend so we took pictures of them on their beautiful property in Morgan County. One of the families had another commitment to sneak off too so we had to shoot in the afternoon with the sun at their backs. But the end of the session it was perfect lighting.
